Strips of vintage fabrics, linens, cottons, and silks, hand-dyed with natural plant dyes are woven and stitched to create a layered, textured base for an abstract composition. This one of a kind textile piece is constructed using the artist's hand-printed black fabrics and stitched drawings, creating a multi-layered highly textured work of art. The finished piece is stitch-mounted to a 2 inch deep cradled birch panel which is wired and ready for hanging. Finished size is 24 x 24 x 2 inches.
